Submit Something
♥ For all event submissions, please be sure to include a cover letter (1-2 paragraphs) describing the event as well as the client’s email address. For real events be sure to include the client’s email address.
♥ Raising Buddies loves to give credit where it is due, so I ask that for all submissions with other vendors involved, please include the names and URL links (if applicable) of the other vendors.
♥ Because Raising Buddies takes copyright and intellectual property very seriously, if you are not the photographer, please make sure you have permission from the photographer to submit photos and indicate so in your submissions (we would confirm before forging ahead).
Our Raising Buddies-cious Exclusivity Policy:
Raising Buddies strives to only accept exclusive submissions for Real Events for full features to a particular degree. By this I mean:
♥ Your submission has not been submitted for publication or been published on any other blogs online (with the sole exception of the photographer’s blog).
♥ If you do not receive an approval notice within 7 days of submission, you may certainly submit the session to other additional publications.
♥ However, during the 7-day review period, you may not submit or publish this session on any other additional online publications.
♥ If your submission is accepted for publication on Raising Buddies, you may not submit it for features on other additional blogs or websites until 3 months after the feature date.
♥ Failure to adhere to Raising Buddies’s exclusivity policy may result in rejection of future submissions.
How To Submit
Raising Buddies is currently receiving submissions via email to hello{at}raisingbuddiesblog{dot}com. You can use Dropbox, Yousendit or any downloadable link format.
Guest Posts
Thanks for your interest in guest posting on Raising Buddies! This blog is always interested in receiving well-written and unique posts which will inspire, educate and encourage her readers.
Before submitting your post for consideration, please note the following guidelines:
♥ Submission of your guest post does not guarantee publication. It will be reviewed and if Raising Buddies thinks it would benefit her readers then it is likely to be published.
♥ Posts must be high-quality, original content and not submitted or published anywhere else online.
♥ Please limit your post to 750 words or less.
♥ Use of bullets, lists and short paragraphs is highly encouraged as it makes reading much easier.
♥ Please make a concerted effort to use correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. Due to time constraints, submissions which require excessive editing cannot be accepted.
♥ Make sure any links in your post are relevant and valid. Links deemed to be irrelevant to the main idea of your post will be removed without notice. Likewise, any non-working links will be removed without notice.
♥ Include a short bio (50 words or less) at the end of your post. Feel free to include a link to your site.
♥ Raising Buddies does not offer monetary compensation for guest posts at this time.
If your guest post is accepted, it may take between 2 to 4 weeks for your guest post to be published. You would be notified withing 1 week if it has been accepted. If you get no notification in 1 week, feel free to send a reminder (running a blog can be overwhelming sometimes) and if still no reply you can submit your post to another blog.
If you submit a query (i.e. an idea for a guest post as opposed to a guest post submission in full), Raising Buddies will review it and contact you if interested in pursuing the next step. If you do not hear from Raising Buddies within 1-2 weeks after submitting your query, you may assume it is not a good fit for her readers.
If you would like to submit your guest post for review, please email it to hello{at}raisingbuddiesblog{dot}com with “Guest Post Submission” in the subject line.
Once your submission is picked out, I would contact you and if more details are needed, I’d would let you know via email.
